Sometime ago in an undisclosed apple store I was hanging around and tinkering with some stuff when I saw some guys asking about the difference bewteen an eMac and an iMac G5, the first thing the customer asked was the difference between the two, I walked closer to hear how the store guy is going to handle this.
I expected to hear an informed explanation about it but what I heard was "It's just different", as an avid mac user I just couldn't let this one slide so I went in and explained to the customer the general difference between the eMac and the iMac G5. I asked the guy what he was going to use it for, what type of machine was he looking for (Power, portability, space, etc) and what sort of price range he was looking for.
It all ended with the guy purchasing an iMac G5 and a really red faced clerk.
