on another note, Sony's new (and frist non Japanese) CEO, Howard Stinger decided to slim down, this move suggests that Sony is loosing on several fronts in the electronics department, particularly the portable music players and struggling in the home media/entertainment department, looks like the 3rd major console war is finally taking it's toll on this old company. The robotics department is one of the few departments that's getting the axe because it wasn't making any real money so bye bye aibo been nice knowing you. Although I have to say this is probably one of the better moves Sony made since the release of the original Playstation, "when you're confused go back to basics" in this case home electronics.

Might wanna fix your second hyperlink. Next time you do it, make sure you type in the entire link, as in for example, http://www.apple.com, not just apple.com.
Shame the robotics department is getting the axe. They should just give up on the entire Walkman division and hoist a white flag. Their portable music player division is a complete joke.
